Regulated Mortgages
There are plenty of mortgage solution providers serving the needs of Intermediaries in the market today, but very few offer a ‘mortgage help desk’ type of service, with solutions provided from across the market, with the choice of either introducer-advised or client-referral service options.
Black Book Service
On receipt of your enquiry we will initially assist by carrying out an assessment of your client’s needs based on the information you provide. We will confirm what we believe to be the most suitable mortgage product/s – from across the market – to meet your client’s needs. We will also provide you with the reasons for our recommendation/s and confirm any fees that would be payable by the client in relation to that product.
With your client’s formal consent, you can then refer your client to Black Book Finance, for us to engage with them directly and provide a full advisory service, including our own fact-finding. Following product research, we will advise your client as to what we consider to be the most suitable mortgage for their needs. Should your client then decide to proceed, we will take care of the processing of the mortgage through to completion. Should your client have any related Life or General Insurance requirements, your client will be referred back to you to advise and arrange these. We will keep you, as the Registered Introducer, updated throughout the process, and you will always have the peace of mind that we, or our selected partner, will always refer any of your client’s future requirements back to you to arrange.
Black Book Fees
For advising on and arranging regulated mortgages we charge an Instruction Fee of £295 upon application, and a flat client fee of £2,095, that is payable on completion. In addition, we may receive a commission from the lender. Following completion, Black Book will send your introduction fee within 5 business days of the relevant payments being received.
